This is the album that made me realize that I'd foolishly overlooked Biosphere as an Ambient artist. I previewed this album at Aquarius on a whim, and was absolutely overwhelmed with its deep enveloping beauty. It is an orchestral sister of the classic Io, leveraging a palette of echoing tones and slow vibration to ornament its vast canvas. It is also a sobmient brother of the classic Konigsforst, having dispensed with an ordinal rhythm to focus instead upon the ebb and flow of tidal richness. And yet all of this latent heat rests upon an mile-thick caking of ice, which hisses and bubbles with great periphal subtly. After listening to this album, I have the strangest feeling of having feasted upon lotus flowers, the endless filtering and flanging of recurring stanzas having lulled me into a state of blissful forgettingness. I want to say so much more, but I have no idea what I was going to say. I hope that Touch has pressed fifteen tons of this disc, because by all right it should rain down upon all who should seek it.
