I'd managed to avoid the whole Twin Peaks phenomenon pretty gracefully until EEG waved this disc under my nose. Tempted, I brought it home, and tripped into a deep, sullen chasm of loneliness from which only death could lift me. The album somehow reeks of age and sorrow, dense ballads of unrequitted desire performed within the Lounge of the Damned. Sad sad sad. I was driven to tears trying to sample one of the tracks; a justifiable freakout on my part. A musical must-have for anyone whose true love fell has fallen from a cliff into the raging sea, and available in stores everywhere.
