Whereas the
first Namlook/Inoue album goes from beat to drift to beat then into complete comatose-land, this album never even gets out of the gate until 60+ minutes in.
For all that time, it just sort of lazes along, going nowhere, deep and vaprous, with an occasional noise so that you don't forget that you're listening to something.
It's like a long, long journey between the stars with subtle little turning points (whence probably comes the name).
The beat at the end sort of manifests itself out of nothing, happens, then disappears again.
Then, it comes back, and disappears again.
I went to sleep the first 2 times I heard it, woke up about 5 minutes before it ended, then was shocked when it went away.
This one is an Ambient-lover's dream. Pray that
Instinct picks it and it's twin up very soon!
