This is one of two of mr. Gabriel's albums that I own, because it's pretty exceptional. This disc is 70+ minutes and, for those who don't know, it's the soundtrack to The Last Temptation of Christ (which was a really good film). The other one I own (in case you want to know) is Birdy, which is another soundtrack. This album does an excellent job in combining Middle Eastern melodies and feelings with mr. Gabriel's pop sensitivities. Instrumentation is both Ethnic and synthetic. Good stuff. Mr. Gabriel's Realworld label is domestic and still putting out a lot of cool World-Beat stuff.
