Just what everyone needs, a little dreariness in their lives, right? Well, 4AD has made an entire industry out of it, and this is one of the best albums they've delivered. TMC is a conglomeration of artists from various 4AD groups, and I've randomly categorized it under Dead Can Dance. It's also got Cocteau Twins and a spackling of other Gothic artists. I don't know the right words to describe it, besides gentle and melancholy, but that's not much to say. If you see someone with an Eye of Horus mascara'd on his or her face, try asking them. 4AD's got good distribution, so this should be locatable.
