A sumptuous offspring of the Labradford & Stars of the Lid wunderkind. The tracks are a goldmine of nuveau drone pop, a phenomenon just waiting to burst forth like molasses in January. Deep and vacantly rhythmic, glazed with washes and flickers, I feel tears well up as great aching reverberations extended out past the gates of dawn. Terrific... truly an ambient brainchild. Kranky is a class organization, so I'd think they'll have burnt a good number of this CD for the fans.
