The album cover indicates that this is "100% computer generated sound", which wouldn't surprise me a bit. It has a sort of operatic feel to it, hints of a tragedy, or perhaps a lengthy ballad of war and conquest. On consideration, its core theme reveals itself as an epic journey of trials and tribulations, a series of challenges met and overcome. It's doesn't feel like the beginning or the end of the story, more likely a big chunk of the IInd and IIIrd acts. One might almost imagine that the composer expresses within it a cautionary tale. I have since stopped poking at my toaster with a fork. It's another of the Ritornell releases that Mille Plateaux so graciously proxies, so nab yourself a copy before it's too late.
