Another wonderful and interesting compilation from the folks at April. With their first compilation and some nice albums in the works, I'll probably have to make a page for them soon. This collection takes an interesting turn, being that it's defintely both Dub and Ambient, but far from Ambient Dub. A lot of slow rugged beats with sumptuous waves and tones, specks of weirdness and a chewy inner lining. Outposted just knocks my socks off, and for no good reason other than the fact that it's just plain good music. I promised I wouldn't say "passively groovy", but I guess I did. Had to get this one in the mail (like I did The Five Star Galaxy), but I've seen copies floating around hither and yon for mass consumption.
