This album is composed of music which accompanied the film For All Mankind. If you haven't seen the film, see it. It's the best space documentary this side of Babylon 5. Apparently it's even out on CD-ROM now. This album is fantastic above and beyond the film, but having seen the visuals associated with the music makes it even better. It's spacy stuff (who would've guessed) with some pedal steel guitar just to liven it up. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, and domestic.
