In my opinion, Air is mr. Namlook's premiere solo work. Air I came about 1-1/2 years before Air II, and I got the domestic release from Instinct. It ended up a driving tape with Break Down & Cry Songs on the other side, with a little help from Environments 3. I've nearly worn the tape clear through by now. Now, whereas Air I is very dreamy, Air II is very Tribal. A little rain stick, a little digeridoo, a lot more transitional in nature. Both discs are strangely... sophisticated. I think it's the babe who speaks French on them. The 2-disc pair is just so domestically available that you wouldn't believe it.
