Went out to see Papa M with Zenne some time last fall. Very nice set, vocals and slowly building aggressiveness, quite charming. And lo and behold... I find that there's a specific instrumental project in the same vein. Also learned(?) through some research that there's a serious tie back from these folks to Tortoise. The album itself is itself -- soothing and theatrical guitar themes. The songs aren't all ambient per se, but they're universally fulfilling. Look around... I think you can still find this one.
