Don't know what niche this fits into within all the Hip-Hop subgenres, but it's got that smoooooth, soothing pulsation that just gives my pale skin serious goosepimplies. Slightest hint of lounge, a light flavoring of criminality, and plenty of those interesting little sounds and tweaks that show so strongly in PBWolf's production work. Traditional Rap vocals on about 5 tracks, and a Parental Advisory label stuck onto the front of the case that I can't quite scrape off (curse that Tipper Gore, grrr). Fantastic summer crusing music, lotsa thumpness, Jeep with subwoofer recommended. Though both Fanatic and PBWolf are SF based, the album's released from London. Go figure.
