Drift
Sparse and syruppy guitar chords strung over large distances... absoultely gorgeous, reminiscent of Brook/Eno's Hybrid. According to Rev. Miguel, this album was recorded in the mountains about an hour outside of Seattle... Adham and Tim hiding out in a cabin for a while absorbing inspiration). The cabin-in-the-mountains part seems to be fairly accurate if the last track is any indication; lovely samples of ourdoorsiness, laughing and some particularly solitary walking. A plethora of waters and tones abide in other tracks throughout the piece. Instinct is quite abundandly domestic so acquire at will.
