Now, this is an album I'd like to send to my father, who weaned me on
lute and
monks.
Unfortunately, he's a little traditional (as in 11th Century) and this work doesn't quite fit the bill.
From what I can tell, it's just mr. Gerhardt playing cello and mr. Namlook (yeah, it's him) taping and recombining it.
The piece swells towards the beginning, but just never gets off the ground -- it hovers and glides, layers upon layers, and winds itself around your supine body.
I hereby publicly apologize to EEG, because I found this one on his suggestion and he's still looking for a copy.
If anyone finds two just lying around, please let me know.
