The soundtracks coming out of mr. Martinez studios seem to getting quieter and quieter. Narc has its compulsory set of tempo'd rhythms, as Hollywood action movies are likely to require. But a full half of the album is beautiful texture and drift. I've heard many of these general themes in the works of mr. Brook, SotL and of course mr. Gabriel. Echo looped guitar strikes, slow drawn chords, and a generous helping of low frequencies. And so many of the tracks hit that level of gorgeousness that I find so essential. Nice. I found this copy used, so I would expect that they're easy to come by.
