Another excursion into heart-sick Lounge from the Massive Attack folks. Eleven ballads of missed, lost, forgotten, or poorly-timed love -- all in the classic Torch Song style. True to the genre, it evokes the tastes of deep emotion languishing behind a rain-covered window. Smudged mascara, leaden butterflies in the stomach, cold sheets on the other half of the bed. All of this captured on a spinning disc of plastic. I've seen it in both plastic manifestations (vinyl + CD), and it shouldn't take much scavenging to find either.
