this girly is steppy as all hell, with skips, shuffles and a weird caramelized ending. took some basic ideas from a show i posted here 15 months ago and worked them up differently. a little revisionist history, if you will.

not bad, not bad. am rather happy with this pair of mixes, though i do paint a little outside the lines on occasion. jazzy step' evolves into a bit of the old london and bristol. enjoy!

my first chance to spin after getting back from Hawai'i. sounds good, considering -- but, it's definitely got its weaknessess. get by that, and you'll enjoy some jumpin', rollin' beauties. split it into two parts to, well, delete my only terminal train wreck.

scraped some good stuff off the end of my show. cool soft stuff which transition over to deep rolling stuff a little too abruptly. really nice mood. wish i'd gotten an extra 15% quality out of my hand-brain combination, but that's live material for you.

no one was there to let me into the studio until around 12:45. turns out this was good... i was able to focus on the tracks i'd layed out for myself. it's hard & phat, and heavy on the bass. a few more slushy mixes than i would have hoped for, but the RealAudio compression blurs them out pretty well.

this is my last show from 10a - Noon (and i thank Goddess for that). the first segment is short, just the first five crisp intelligent lead-in tracks that really stood out on their own. after one tough mix, i got on a serious roll for the next hour and more -- dark rolling cookies sandwiching a creamy dubstyle center. mis-aligned a few stanzas, and i started to peter out towards the end, but it's still a very nice listen.

i accidentally erased my original description of this set... loved its mood, so brought it back from the dead. it's a nice set of music, soft and Intelligent then Classic. it's the second half of my set, so it's execution is tolerable.

got two nice parts out Saturday at GrooveTech. some bumps and bruises, and i've gotta learn to watch that bass. i left the first of two parts up here... it goes from phat to jazzy.
